Mango will launch a special Ramadan collection
According to WWD, the Spanish clothing manufacturer Mango will launch a special collection timed to coincide with the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. The collection will include items for everyday life – jackets, coats, leggings, tunics and loose shirts along with festive clothes – long dresses, skirts and capes with abstract patterns. The collection will go on sale on June the 30th, a week before the start of Ramadan.
H&M is preparing a collection with Kenzo
Next collaboration H&M has been announced – this time the Swedish brand is preparing a collection with the brand Kenzo. Creative director of Kenzo, Carol Lim and Humberto Leon, joined the team in 2011, strongly influenced the vision of the brand. Memorable prints, bright colors, as well as collaborations with artists is what it is associated with Kenzo today.
Uniqlo and Theory have presented a capsule collection
Japanese mass-market giant Uniqlo and fashion brand Theory have presented a capsule collection of men’s clothing: it included three models of polo shirts and t-shirt made of breathable fabric. Both brands will start to sell these things on the 10th of June in their stores in Japan. Also the clothes will be available in some Uniqlo stores in different countries and on the website of the brand Prices for items from the capsule collection are in the range from 256 to 385 dollars.
Olivier Rustain has created sportswear for Nike
Balmain creative director Olivier Rustain said in his instagrame that he has created a collection of sportswear for Nike. Designer himself did not disclose any details about the collaboration, but Dazed site Digital has leaked some pictures. The inspiration for the designer was his favorite sport – football, but also a sense of excitement and competitive feelings experienced by the winner. As Dazed noted Cristiano Ronaldo has attended the presentation of the collection. The line includes men’s and women’s clothes, according to the aesthetics of strongly reminiscent of Balmain collection for H & M, where the main colors were black and gold. Embroidered hand shoes, T-shirts, hoodies and other models will be on sale from the 2nd of June at NikeLab.
